LEAP provides youth enrichment programs and stimulates economic development
LEAP, which stands for Leadership, Enlightenment, Achievement, and Perseverance, also teaches its members about Outreach, Responsibility, and Growth.
Our positive youth development program views young people as “resources” who have much to offer rather than as “problems” that need to be treated or fixed.
Our business incubator strives to increase the successful development of new businesses, job creation and employment.
Our vision is a society of emotionally healthy and economically independent individuals who are engaged citizens, contributing to the improvement of their communities.

Youth referred from Juvenile Court, DCS, Schools, and/or parents who report issues with tobacco, drugs, or anger management must complete 6 weeks of group counseling. Our licensed social workers provide case management, counseling, and resource coordination services to young people.
Youth voluntarily enrolled enjoy innovative and fun workshops where they will both learn and apply essential life skills including leadership, self esteem, etiquette, team building, financial management, etc.
The Tau Psi Omicron Fraternal Leadership Program (Torch Club) serves young ladies and gentleman. Participants learn the importance of leadership, serving others and establish lifelong friendships, as well as the enhancement of meaningful educational and professional opportunities.
Each year, we award scholarships to the winners of our LEAP 7 Points Quest Scholarship Essay Contest.

Any youth ages 11 to 18.
How can I Volunteer?
We are looking for volunteer as personal, group, and career mentors for students. For more information CLICK HERE
What kind of youth are eligible for the Intervention Programs?
This program targets at-risk/troubled youth that are referred from juvenile court, the Department of Children Services, the school system, and concerned parents. We also accept youth that voluntarily enroll in the program that exhibit issues with substance abuse and/or anger management.
