As we celebrate Mother’s day, I would like to thank God for my mother for not only passing on her Faith and Love to me, but also her struggles as well. I remember the Sundays we would walk to church while others rode. She faced many challenges when my dad died, a single parent raising a family. My mother died when I was 18, but what she deposited in me will last for a life time. Philippians 4:12 states “I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.”
