The Emergency Housing Program will provide apartment housing for low to no income single parents who find themselves homeless and are not on Section 8/HUD. Based on compliance with guidelines tenants may receive first two month’s rent is free with the third and fourth month’s rent to be half of the market value. By the 5th month, the goal is to have the tenant able to sign a regular lease or have rent increased in increments on a month to month basis.

The Supportive Housing Program will provide  apartment housing to low income familes whose income does not exceed 50% of the median income for Montgomery County. Tenant has the option of participating in the homeowners program in which case they set up monthly allotments to have funds set aside for a period of 5 years. Once funds have matured the tenant should have the ability to pay a down payment on a home.
