To meet the needs in our community, we depend on volunteers. The method behind our organization is our practice to uphold the respect, dignity, and perspectives of each member regardless of title. United we stand as we LEAP for success through Faith, Education, and Outreach.Below is an overview of the positions we are looking to fill along with a description of responsibilities associated with it. Volunteer/Activities Coordinator- responsible for recruiting, training and motivating volunteers to work on specific projects.  Plans, schedules, implements and evaluates programs/activities designed to keep the people involved entertained, enthusiastic, and most of all, active.Mentors- Empower youth to increase self-esteem gain life skills and engage in positive social activities. Provide opportunities for youth to be successful and feel  they are cared about.  Share your interests and values while participating in mutually enjoyable activities.

Tutors- Provide individual and small group tutoring to students. Assist students in improving academic achievement by meeting with them on a regular basis to clarify learning problems and work on study skills. Other assistance might include: reviewing class material, discussing the text, predicting test questions, formulating ideas for papers, or working on solutions to problems. Tutoring is a supplement to classroom teaching. Tutors are not expected to know everything about the subject for which they tutor.

Case Manager- provide the actual case management services within the court systems currently participating in the program. Make referrals for counseling in groups, individuals, and families; document all sessions. Participate in treatment team meetings focusing on the clinical component. Provide in-service training and staff development activities as needed.

Financial Director – responsible for overseeing 3rd party account firm, maintaining  financial records, and collaborating with grant writing team and fundraising committee in order to meet legislative requirements and support operations.

Fundraising Committee – responsible for overseeing the organization’s overall fundraising by work with staff to establish a fundraising plan that incorporates a series of appropriate vehicles, such as special events, direct mail, product sales, etc. In addition to monitor fundraising efforts to be sure that ethical practices are in place, that donors are acknowledged appropriately, and that fundraising efforts are cost-effective.

Grant Writing Team – identity, define, and develop funding sources to support existing and planned program activities as well as coordinate the development, writing, and submission of grant proposals to third-party entities. The position is also responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data on the performance of program activities that are funded by third-party public and private sources.
